Job Title: General Manager Location: Dubai – UAE

Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the landscaping projects, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable. This role involves ensuring that landscaping projects are well-executed, teams are effectively managed, and that operations are aligned with the company's goals.

  • Lead and manage a team of landscape designers, horticulturists, groundkeepers, and other related staff.
  • Oversee the daily operations of landscape projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Ensure that all projects meet company standards, client expectations, and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the allocation of resources such as staff, equipment, and materials.
  • Set project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and service expectations are exceeded.
  • Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and service agreements with clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Track financial performance and generate reports for upper management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of service or safety.
  • Ensure all operations are compliant with local regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
  • Enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries on job sites.
  • Oversee the maintenance and procurement of landscaping equipment, vehicles, and tools.
  • Ensure that equipment is regularly serviced, well-maintained, and ready for use when needed.
  • Implement sustainable practices in landscaping operations, such as water conservation, eco-friendly materials, and energy-efficient techniques.
  • Promote the use of native plants and environmentally conscious landscaping solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape management.

  • Strong knowledge of plants, horticultural practices, and irrigation systems.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and teams effectively.
