Theme 1 seeks AI-enabled process reform for labor shortages affecting essential work. The official challenge page lists rank prizes of JPY 100 million, 80 million, 60 million, 40 million and 20 million for first through fifth place, plus separately described judge and cooperating-ministry special-prize pools.
