Your Mission

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–5 Fund Administrators, including planning, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Act as senior reviewer for bookkeeping, financial statements and NAV calculations for alternative investment funds (PE/RE/VC/Infrastructure).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for German‑speaking clients, representing the team in client meetings and handling complex queries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with LUXGAAP and/or IFRS (as adopted by the EU).
  • Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timely delivery of NAV calculations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives to strengthen and optimise the Fund Administration department.
  • Oversee cash monitoring, payment instructions, and invoice approval workflows with a strong focus on internal controls.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and transparent collaboration.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or audit, in the alternative investment industry (PE/RE/VC/Infrastructure).
  • Strong technical expertise in LUXGAAP and IFRS (as adopted by the EU), with the ability to apply these standards across complex structures.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising and developing junior team members.
  • Native‑level or full professional fluency in German (written and spoken) is mandatory; strong command of English is also required.
  • Confident communicator capable of explaining complex accounting and regulatory matters clearly to clients.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems commonly used in Luxembourg.
  • Analytical, solutions‑oriented, and proactive approach to delivering high‑quality client service.
  • Able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
