Tips for this fellowship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Confirm citizenship/residency, degree timing, site affiliation and mentor endorsement requirements before applying.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified on Stanford's official GHES page on 2 Sep 2026. The page states the 2027–28 application is open, points applicants to Yale for the application, and gives a 1 Oct 2026 5:00 PM Eastern Time deadline. Funding amount and visa support were not stated in the verified page. Append-only v2 correction: NIH support is confirmed, but the verified page did not establish complete cost coverage, so funding_type is left null rather than inferred as fully funded.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
