Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and stakeholders goals and objectives. Key responsibilities
Major accountabilities: Responsible for planning and execution of product development projects.Plans and directs schedules and monitors budget/spending.Ensures consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle.Drives the development and manages the execution of high quality, integrated cross-functional plans for projects.Provides clear direction on product development requirements to meet expectations of external customers and business stakeholders. Interacts with research and development, marketing, manufacturing, and regulatory departments and with external stakeholders.Responsible for project performance, risk management, administration, financial management and issue resolution for functional group.Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Participates with other senior level to establish strategic plans and objectives.Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensure operations effective achievement of objectives.Regularly interacts with senior management and/or major customers (internal or external).Contributes to and often leads the development of departmental and functional/business unit goals and objectives.Represents area as core member in the Global Project Teams for defining global scientific strategy for development up to submission and approval in major markets of assigned product(s).Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable) Key performance indicators: Sucessful project execution -Budget optimization and Operational excellence -Customer Feedback -Scientific exchange, including internal & external publications/presentations, invited lectures
