The AI Builder Cup 2026 is a JAPAC hackathon for working professionals, startups and entrepreneurs aged 21+, with online registration and prototype building followed by an in-person Grand Finale in Singapore on 4 December 2026.

The current official site shows registration and team formation from 1–30 September, prototype building/submission from 7 September–3 October, and a combined registration/team-formation/prototype submission deadline of 4 October 2026. Teams may have 1–4 members and students are not eligible. The organizer lists a USD30,000 total cash prize pool and states that the Singapore Demo Day includes sponsored round-trip travel for finalist teams; only two members of a finalist team may travel and attend the finale.
