About GOAL GOAL has worked in Sudan since 1985, supporting conflict-affected communities through programmes in health, nutrition, WASH, food security and livelihoods. GOAL currently operates in North Darfur, South Kordofan and White Nile State, supporting essential services and longer-term recovery for communities affected by conflict.   About the role GOAL is seeking an experienced Grants and Partnerships Coordinator to lead grants management, proposal development and partnership work across the Sudan programme on a 12 month fixed term contract.  Working closely with the Programme Director and wider country team, you will coordinate donor proposals and reporting, oversee grant processes, support new funding opportunities and manage GOAL’s work with local and national partners.   Key responsibilities Lead donor proposals, concept notes and funding submissions. Manage grant reporting, deadlines and donor requirements. Work with Programme, Finance and MEAL teams to ensure proposals and budgets are accurate and complete. Support funding strategy and identify new programme opportunities. Manage relationships with donors, local partners, NGOs and consortium members. Oversee partner assessments, agreements, compliance and reporting. Support local partners to strengthen programme delivery and organisational capacity. Monitor partnership risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place. Support GOAL’s wider partnership and localisation work in Sudan. About you At least 5 years’ relevant experience in humanitarian or international development work, including management-level responsibility. Strong grants management and donor reporting experience. Experience developing successful proposals and concept notes. Good knowledge of institutional donors such as BHA, ECHO, FCDO and UN agencies. Experience managing partnerships and working with local or national organisations. Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills. Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Willingness and ability to live and work in Sudan.
