Hackathon format & key facts
Organized detailsOverview
UPTPC and public science and higher-education partners are registering Venezuelan university teams for the second Hackatón Carabobo ethical-hacking event.
Complete hackathon details
The challenge covers Linux administration, web protocols, vulnerability detection, digital forensics, steganography and Python scripting. The organizer currently describes 14 September 2026 as a tentative event date at UPTPC's Unidad de Ciencia y Tecnología, so no fixed structured event date or deadline is asserted.
Eligibility requirements
University students must participate as a team of 3–4 students representing their institution. Only one team per university is allowed, and each team must have at least one laptop.
Tips for this hackathon
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Read the rules, eligibility, judging criteria, required technologies and intellectual-property terms before forming your submission plan.
- Build a complementary team early and assign product, engineering, design, research and presentation responsibilities clearly.
- Optimize for the published judging rubric: demonstrate a real problem, working solution, measurable impact and a concise live demo.
- Prepare the repository, pitch deck, demo video and submission links before the final hours so upload or platform problems do not invalidate the entry.
- Check whether travel, finalist presentations, team-size limits or mandatory attendance apply before committing.
Verification notes
Official UPTPC event page verified during the 7 September 2026 OP06 run. Registration is linked from the organizer page. The event date is explicitly marked tentative, so the structured deadline and event date remain null.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
