Teams are asked to propose a new, practical energy solution for Buenos Aires, such as a product, service, application, campaign, urban intervention, educational tool, information system or management approach. Priority themes include energy efficiency, clean and renewable energy, energy information, resilience and emissions reduction. Applications opened 4 September 2026; proposals are due 5 October. Finalists defend their projects in person on 21 October during TecWeek 2026. The organizer states that winning projects may receive up to the equivalent of US$5,000 to develop a pilot, prototype or first validation stage.
Eligibility requirements
Team members must be 18–24 years old and form teams of 2–7 people. Each team needs sponsorship from a nonprofit organization such as a university, educational institution, civil association or civil-society organization legally based in CABA or AMBA. The project must be carried out in Buenos Aires City. Each youth team may submit one project.
