Full Job Description

Design and realize the next generation of state-of-the-art industrial machinery for materials handling. Motivated early-career electrical engineers are needed to build and deliver the artifacts used to manufacture industrial machinery at-scale. Job functions include, but are not limited to: panel design, schematics design, interconnection and single-line diagramming, product data management, collaborative product development, manual prototyping and first-article construction support.

Key job responsibilities Design of power/control/data/signaling circuits to applicable local standards. Production of complete machinery schematics packages using industry-standard software including panel layouts, multi-line diagrams, single-line diagrams, bills of materials, connection reports, and more. Product data management using PLM software suite. Running design reviews and alignment meetings collaboratively.

A day in the life Daily activities include collaborative ideation and progress-tracking meetings with tight teams, product data management, design document production and review, machinery site-visits, and team building activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent
  • Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills
  • Knowledge of current industry standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
