Hardware Project Leader for Automotive Electronic Power Steering Systems (Vehicle Motion) according to Bosch Product Development Process.

Responsible for automotive development projects (from quotation to mass production release), including topics such as Technical Project Management (Focus: HW Engineering), Negotiate customer requirements, Leading meetings/coordination between internal/external stakeholders, Stakeholder management, Plant/Industrialization support, Budget Management, Risk Management, Time Planning, Management of Engineering Product validation, and Coordinate Engineering change management.

Tasks

• Responsible for HW Customer projects development, ensuring project milestones are met.

• Technical main interface to internal (plant, business unit) and external stakeholders (Customer, Suppliers).

• Requirement management and negotiation.

• R&D Project Budget Management (Project costs planning, & monitoring).

• Negotiation, Planning and Coordination of HW-Engineering Validation activities.

• Functional Safety targets (ISO 26262) and managing the activities.

• Sample Coordination & Sample order.

• Project Reporting to Senior Management.

• Perform Design-Reviews.

• Hardware release according to Bosch internal process.

• Perform and lead Change management processes.

• Leading Technical Problem management activities within HW domain.

• Perform the Lessons Learned.

Qualifications and requirements

Skill Set

  • Good knowledge on automotive Hardware development Product life cycle (requirements, Design, Integrations, testing & validation).
  • Stakeholder management (Customer/Supplier management experience).
  • Solid knowledge on Electronics: Power and Analog electronics (Schematic / PCB Lay-Out Design, Module Design, etc.).
  • Good knowledge in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors.
  • Management & Planning of Project budget cost (R&D).
  • Knowledge on HW testing/validation standards regarding EMC & Environmental testing.
  • Strong Experience / knowledge in Automotive domain.
  • Knowledge on Functional safety standard - ISO 26262 & FMEA/FMEDA is added advantage.
  • Should have strong analytical, communication and logical skills.

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering).
  • 3+ years of previous project management experience.
  • 3+ HW development experience (experience with automotive product development cycle).
  • Project management certification (desired).
  • Master's Degree on Electronics, Mechanics or Manufacturing is a plus (desired).
