The University of Namibia is recruiting a full-time Head of Innovation and Business Development to help move research and student ideas through feasibility, incubation, prototyping and commercialization.
Full job description
The role supports researchers and students from project conception through prototype and incubation stages, provides operational support to the innovation centre, and assists with resource mobilization for promising feasibility and prototype work.
Requirements & qualifications
A Master's degree in Business Management, IT, Economics, Entrepreneurship or an equivalent qualification is required, together with a track record in innovation, business development, technology and community engagement. At least five years of relevant experience in business development and innovation incubation is required. A PhD is an added advantage.
