The Role

The Head of Compliance and Risk Management Division is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all programs within the Compliance & Risk Management Division, including:

  • Implementing risk management processes and providing risk-related reports for monitoring company performance and supporting management decision-making.
  • Managing business continuity programs to ensure critical business functions continue during normal, emergency, and post-incident conditions.
  • Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with OJK regulations.
  • Ensuring company compliance in all operational activities and managing the Early Warning System (EWS).

Responsibilities

  • Develop work plans and budgets for the Compliance & Risk Management Division.
  • Ensure all processes comply with GCG, SOPs, and regulations.
  • Manage risk analysis, mitigation strategies, and portfolio risk.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team.
  • Ensure smooth operations and optimize resources.
  • Improve systems, procedures, and workflows.
  • Collaborate internally and externally.
  • Oversee administrative functions.
  • Evaluate risk management systems.

Core Duties

  • Ensure job descriptions and SOPs are aligned with business developments.
  • Conduct coaching and mentoring.
  • Act as a role model for company values (AKHLAK).
  • Oversee compliance, reporting governance, and risk security.
  • Approve and control division budgets.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across the company.
  • Ensure compliance implementation in all activities.
  • Report compliance and risk issues.
  • Plan and ensure EWS runs effectively.
  • Ensure all business units operate according to regulations.

Job Challenges

  • Adapting compliance and risk management to evolving regulations (especially OJK).

  • Low awareness of compliance & BCM across the organization.

Authority

  • Approve compliance & risk management reports.
  • Propose division programs and initiatives.
  • Approve updates to processes, job descriptions, and SOPs.

Requirements

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certifications:
  • CRMP (Risk Management)
  • Insurance certification (AAAIK / AAAIJ minimum)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
