Full job description

WHO WE ARE

Ovoko is transforming Europe’s €30B+ used car parts market - a massive, fragmented industry still largely offline. We connect 7,000+ scrapyard owners, car parts sellers and dismantlers with millions of buyers through our marketplace, SaaS and logistics platform, making it effortless to trade parts across borders. With over 42 million parts listed, we’ve grown into one of Europe’s fastest-scaling e-commerce companies, but the real opportunity lies ahead, as we build a real category-defining platform worldwide.

As the Head of Marketing, you will take strategic ownership of Ovoko’s global marketing engine across 25+ countries. Your mission is to evolve our highly successful performance-driven foundation into a sophisticated, multi-channel brand. You will bridge the gap between short-term efficiency and long-term vision, moving us beyond an over-reliance on single channels to build a household name that addresses industry stigmas and unlocks new market liquidity.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Own the marketing strategy and take full accountability for the global marketing P&L, balancing a massive performance engine with strategic brand investments to drive sustainable, long-term growth.

  • Drive multi-channel expansion and lead the transition from a "performance" mindset to a diversified mix, identifying when and how to scale TV, YouTube, and influencer campaigns to boost awareness in key markets.

  • Scale global presence and partner with the management to align budgets and expansion plans, ensuring our marketing efforts directly support supplier liquidity and market-specific needs.

  • Develop and execute a brand strategy that transforms the perception of used car parts into a secure, premium, and trustworthy marketplace choice.

  • Provide vision and leadership to our Brand and Performance team members, fostering a culture of high accountability, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Effectively communicate marketing roadmaps and outcomes to the management, justifying large-scale investments with clear data and strategic logic.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven track record in a senior marketing role, having successfully scaled high-growth marketplaces or E-commerce platforms.

  • Deep expertise in performance marketing (Google, SEO, Meta) paired with experience required to execute high-impact branding (YouTube, PR, etc).

  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to determine marketing efficiency, with a clear understanding of when to push for growth versus when to optimize for payback.

  • A demonstrated ability to tackle product stigmas through creative storytelling, building trust in markets where online adoption is still evolving.

  • A self-starter who can navigate the tension between "short-term wins" and "long-term vision" without needing a pre-defined playbook.

  • Experience managing marketing across diverse European markets, understanding the cultural nuances of scaling a brand internationally.

  • B2B Marketing and experience within the automotive or tech-heavy industries is a big advantage.

SALARY

The offered salary for this position starts from 9000 € (gross) per month. Please keep in mind that we are also open to discuss your salary expectations based on your competencies and experience.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Private health insurance • Employee stock option plan (ESOP) • Learning budget for your personal and professional growth • Commuting perks (covered parking or public transport to choose from) • Everyday snacks and drinks • Onsite gym • Top-notch hardware and software (MacOS or Windows to choose from) • The opportunity to work from anywhere up to 30 days per year • Employee referral program
