Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Sales based in the United States. This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for shaping sales strategy, execution, and growth across a global organization. You’ll lead a high-performing sales team while building the processes, accountability, and operating discipline needed for consistent results. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in major opportunities, pipeline management, forecasting, and new business development. You’ll work closely with senior commercial leadership and cross-functional partners to align pricing, quotas, compensation, marketing, contracts, and growth initiatives. A key focus will be expanding into new markets and verticals while strengthening relationships with strategic customers and industry stakeholders. You’ll use data and performance insights to improve win rates, deal velocity, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales effectiveness. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced B2B SaaS sales leader who thrives on building teams, improving systems, and driving sustainable growth.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales organization comprising sales leaders and individual contributors. Set clear performance expectations, manage quotas, provide ongoing coaching, and establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build and implement a consistent sales methodology across the organization, including stage definitions, exit criteria, deal reviews, and forecasting standards. Oversee the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing. Own sales targets, profitable revenue growth, pipeline performance, and strategic objectives across assigned territories. Identify and pursue new markets, customer segments, and industry verticals to expand the organization’s footprint and customer base. Use CRM data, analytics, scorecards, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and optimize sales execution. Personally participate in strategic opportunities while coaching the broader team to cultivate, develop, and close high-value deals. Establish a cross-functional strategic deal framework that improves alignment and increases the likelihood of successful outcomes. Partner with Commercial Strategy on pricing, quota structures, incentive compensation, and forecasting methodology. Champion sales and growth initiatives internally through consistent communication, reporting, forecasting, and visibility for key stakeholders. Partner with senior commercial leadership to develop resourcing strategies that address both new business acquisition and expansion within the existing customer base. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, tradeshows, and other strategic networking opportunities. Drive new-logo acquisition and support revenue growth as the product portfolio expands. Collaborate with Marketing on pipeline generation, sales messaging, and adoption of sales enablement tools. Partner with Commercial Contracts to improve contracting speed, manage redlines, and maintain deal quality. Establish a trusted forecasting methodology and ensure leadership has clear visibility into pipeline health, risks, opportunities, and expected results. Deliver measurable improvements in sales process consistency, win rates, deal velocity, team effectiveness, and repeatable new business growth within the first 12 months. Requirements: 8+ years of progressive B2B SaaS sales leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior sales leadership position overseeing enterprise sales organizations. Proven experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing sales teams, including both sales leaders and individual contributors. Demonstrated ability to create a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, coaching, execution, and continuous improvement. Experience selling into complex organizations with multiple stakeholders and navigating sophisticated enterprise sales cycles. Proven ownership of large-scale sales pipelines and forecasts with direct accountability to executive leadership or a board. Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with broader organizational growth objectives. Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, executive communication, and relationship-building skills, including experience engaging C-level decision makers. Strong data-driven operating skills, including CRM discipline, forecasting rigor, performance scorecards, pipeline analysis, and KPI management. Experience leading teams through organizational or sales leadership changes while maintaining morale, performance, and momentum. Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on participation in critical sales opportunities. Excellent communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; an MBA is a plus. International sales management experience across multiple territories and currencies is a plus. Experience designing or refining incentive compensation plans for sales leaders and individual contributors is a plus. Experience launching or selling new products within an expanding portfolio, including products introduced through acquisition integration, is a plus. Experience in travel, attractions, ski, ticketing, venue technology, or a closely related industry is a plus. Willingness to travel up to 40% as required by the role. Ability to work remotely within the United States or United Kingdom. Employer sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this role. Benefits: Salary range of $200,000–$275,000 USD , with compensation based on experience and role scope. Competitive overall compensation package. 4 weeks of paid time off for employees with up to 3 years of tenure, with increased accrual thereafter. 8 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off annually. Inclusive family benefits supporting maternity, surrogacy, adoption, and fertility, including a $7,500 benefit toward surrogacy, adoption, and fertility. 6 weeks of paid parental leave following birth, adoption, or foster care placement. Flexible medical benefits through an employer-contributed ICHRA. Group dental and vision coverage, with optional supplemental insurance. Optional group pet insurance. Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability and life insurance. 401(k) with employer matching. Unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning for professional development. Flexible work schedule designed to support work-life balance while maintaining core business hours. Fully remote work environment within the United States or United Kingdom. Opportunity to lead a global sales organization and influence its growth strategy, processes, and operating model. Collaborative and inclusive environment focused on innovation, professional development, and strong team connections.
