Your Tasks

  • Responsibilities and Authorities:

  • Manage and drive sales performance for the Polymer business across ASEAN and China, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Polymer sales team, including Segment Managers (Healthcare Polymer, Mobility, Consumer Electronics) to achieve defined KPIs and business targets.

  • Support the development and execution of regional sales and business development strategies in alignment with group objectives.

  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.

  • Identify and assess new market opportunities and support the introduction of new products or solutions relevant to the Polymer business.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient supply, pricing, and customer service for the region.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide regular business intelligence reports to management.

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for the Polymer business.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable standards (e.g., AS9120 AQMS, ISO 14001 EMS, or other relevant guidelines as required).

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Competency Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant working experience in sales or business development, preferably within the polymers or chemical industry.

  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a sales team.

  • Solid understanding of market dynamics, customer relationship management, and segment-based sales approaches.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent; Master’s degree is an advantage.
