Health Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Health Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner based in Australia. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape safer, healthier workplaces across diverse healthcare environments. You will partner with leaders across hospital-at-home, community, in-home, virtual care and call centre operations. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on safety leadership in dynamic, often non-traditional work settings. You will help identify and manage risks, strengthen organisational safety capability and influence decision-making. Working across complex stakeholder environments, you will use data and practical expertise to drive meaningful improvements. This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing healthcare organisation while broadening your professional and leadership impact. The role offers a flexible hybrid environment, with particular relevance for candidates based in Adelaide or able to travel regularly.

Partner with leaders to embed the organisation’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy across diverse operational environments. Provide expert advice on Australian WHS legislation, risk management, compliance and safety practices. Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and audit activities to identify and address workplace risks. Analyse health, safety and people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement. Develop and enhance HSW frameworks, policies, programs and practical safety initiatives. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence positive health, safety and wellbeing outcomes. Navigate complex and evolving healthcare environments with a pragmatic, commercially minded approach. Requirements: 6+ years of experience in Health, Safety & Wellbeing or a closely related field. Experience partnering with leaders in healthcare, community services, emergency services, aged care, disability, justice or other field-based operational environments. Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, compliance requirements and risk management practices. Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into practical improvements. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to work across different levels of an organisation. Ability to work autonomously, challenge constructively, navigate complexity and drive outcomes. Relevant qualifications in WHS, Occupational Health, Risk Management or a related discipline. A confident, resilient and commercially minded approach, with the ability to build credibility quickly in complex environments. Benefits: Competitive remuneration package.
