Location: Lansdowne, VA Team Overview As the HR Coordinator at ADF, you will strengthen the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team and overall HR department by keeping core people operations organized, accurate, and responsive. Working across the employee lifecycle, this role ensures HR processes, records, systems, and team member support are handled with consistency, confidentiality, and care so HRBP's can effectively serve leaders and team members throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative, operational, and documentation support to HRBPs across the employee lifecycle outside of recruiting, including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, promotions, compensation actions, and offboarding. Administer employee data transactions within the HRIS (ADP), maintaining confidential employee records, data integrity, and document retention requirements through regular audits. Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and data summaries for business leaders. Monitor and triage the shared HR inbox, responding to routine inquiries and escalating complex issues to the appropriate HRBP. Coordinate scheduling and logistics for HR-related meetings, including performance discussions, employee relations, investigations, and HR business partner check-ins. Prepare, organize, and maintain employee relations documentation under the guidance of HRBPs, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Organize and maintain HR document repositories (policies, forms, templates), ensuring proper formats, version control, and accessibility. Support HR programs including open enrollment, performance review cycles, and compliance initiatives as needed. Support organizational changes and workforce structure updates in collaboration with the broader HR team. Assist with user testing, updates, and troubleshooting basic user issues across HR tools. Track HR service requests and maintain records to support continuous process improvement efforts. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in Human Resources administration or coordination, HR operations, or similar administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. Familiarity with HRIS Platforms (ADP is preferred, but not required). Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills. Excellent customer service and people skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Ability to operate in an evolving work environment with ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of employment law basics, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and I-9 compliance. Experience supporting file audits or compliance reviews. This range is a good-faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and office location. Virginia Salary Range $53,800 — $73,600 USD
