About the Role
We’re looking for an HR Onboarding Specialist to ensure every new employee joins Wing with confidence, clarity, and a seamless introduction to the organization. This role is a key part of the HR team, working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Organizational Development to guide new hires from offer acceptance through full integration. The HR Onboarding Specialist will deliver structured onboarding sessions, manage documentation and system setup, and ensure every new team member is fully oriented to Wing’s culture, processes, and expectations.
Manage and execute the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer confirmation to HR and departmental handover. Conduct new hire orientations covering company policies, culture, communication standards, HR procedures, and performance expectations. Ensure timely setup of system access, credentials, and HR-related accounts prior to a new hire’s start date. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and relevant departments to verify completion of pre-employment and onboarding requirements. Maintain warm, clear, and proactive communication with new hires throughout the onboarding journey, addressing questions and concerns. Track onboarding progress, maintain checklists, and ensure timely completion of all required HR and compliance steps. Collect, organize, and report feedback from new employees to enhance the onboarding experience and engagement. Coordinate with People Operations and Compliance teams for documentation, contract execution, policy acknowledgments, and regulatory requirements. Support new hires’ transition into role-specific training or departmental integration, ensuring no gaps in information, setup, or expectations. Contribute to continuous improvement of HR onboarding processes, materials, and workflow enhancements.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR onboarding, training coordination, or HR operations—preferably in a BPO, staffing, or remote-first environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong empathy for new employees. Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple onboarding cycles simultaneously. Proficiency in Google Workspace, HRIS/ATS platforms, and onboarding or employee management tools. Strong understanding of remote workforce practices and virtual communication norms. Comfortable facilitating live sessions or presentations for groups.
Background in HR, Learning & Development, or employee training. Familiarity with employee lifecycle processes, HR documentation, or learning management systems (LMS). Knowledge of engagement, retention, and employee experience strategies during onboarding. Experience developing onboarding documentation, guides, presentations, or multimedia materials.
