HRZZ is funding the Croatian component of German-Croatian collaborative research projects under Weave. The German principal investigator and Croatian partner prepare a joint proposal; the German lead submits it to DFG's continuously open call while the Croatian proposer submits the corresponding project to HRZZ through EPP. All scientific fields are eligible. HRZZ states that the Croatian component may receive €60,000 to €200,000 for three years. DFG conducts the scientific evaluation and HRZZ checks Croatian administrative eligibility.
Eligibility requirements
Eligible Croatian proposing organizations are higher-education institutions, scientific institutes, and other research-oriented institutions with at least five PhD holders employed for more than one year. The application must form a closely linked and complementary German-Croatian research project led on the German side by a principal investigator at a German organization.
