The call supports joint basic-research projects between Croatian and German researchers for up to three years. Croatian applicants may request EUR 60,000 to EUR 200,000 for the Croatian project component. Eligible Croatian costs include research activities, equipment, dissemination, training and collaboration, open-access publication and justified indirect costs. Applications for the Croatian component are submitted electronically through the HRZZ Electronic Project Proposal system under the Lead Agency procedure with the German Research Foundation.
Eligibility requirements
Eligible Croatian host organizations include higher-education institutions, scientific institutes and other research organizations with at least five PhD-level researchers. Applicants must satisfy the HRZZ call requirements and participate in a joint German–Croatian basic-research proposal.
