Full job description
- Assist in analysing port HSE data (incidents, near-misses, KPIs).
- Support risk assessments using HIRA, JSA, Bowtie, HAZOP.
- Help improve safety workflows including Permit-to-Work (PTW) for hot work, confined spaces, and electrical tasks.
- Work with terminal teams to understand operational processes.
- Support Power BI dashboards and reporting for HSE metrics.
- Prepare documentation for ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 audits.
- Assist in optimising HSE processes in terminals.
- Learn to convert operational and safety data into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Knowledge of HSE standards for ports (ISPS, ISM, OSHA, IMO).
- Understanding of terminal operations and cargo-handling workflows.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methods (HIRA, JSA, Bowtie, HAZOP).
- Basic experience analysing HSE or operational data.
- Exposure to Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
- Familiarity with TOS / EHS systems used in ports is a plus.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
