Role Overview

Full job description

Role Overview Shape a more secure, seamless way for people and technology to access what they need. As an IAM Program Lead , you’ll own the Identity and Access Management roadmap from strategy through adoption—bringing security, technology, compliance, HR, application owners, and business teams together around measurable outcomes. You’ll turn complex priorities into clear delivery plans, manage dependencies and trade-offs, and keep high-impact initiatives moving on time and within approved scope and budget. Your work will help reduce identity risk, strengthen controls, improve audit readiness, and create a better user experience. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff) Build and maintain a multi-year IAM roadmap that balances security risk, compliance needs, business priorities, technology constraints, and user experience. Lead IAM initiatives from planning through delivery and adoption, managing milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, scope, resources, and budgets. Partner with security, technology, infrastructure, HR, compliance, application owners, and business leaders to align priorities and drive cross-functional execution. Establish effective program rhythms, including planning reviews, status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking, and executive escalations. Define and track success measures such as access-review completion, joiner-mover-leaver effectiveness, privileged-access controls, authentication adoption, audit readiness, and risk reduction. Communicate clear, decision-focused updates to executives and technical teams, surfacing blockers early and driving recovery plans when delivery forecasts change. These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview 3–5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional technology, security, infrastructure, product, or IAM programs. Experience building and managing roadmaps for IAM, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise technology initiatives. Proficiency with Jira or similar delivery and project-management tools, including dashboards and reporting. A track record of managing delivery against scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and budgets. Strong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to communicate priorities, risks, trade-offs, and outcomes to both executives and technical teams. Experience defining metrics, monitoring program health, and reporting on delivery outcomes, risk reduction, audit readiness, or control effectiveness. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t Experience delivering IAM or security-transformation programs, or modernizing enterprise infrastructure. Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance practices and common IAM control objectives. Experience supporting change management, communications, training, or adoption for security and identity initiatives.   About Us Diligent is the AI leader in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions, helping more than 1 million users and 700,000 board members to clarify risk and elevate governance.
