The Embassy of India in Nouakchott states that applications may be submitted throughout the year and are selected by an expert committee constituted by the Director General of ICMR. Applications are forwarded by the employer or head of institution to ICMR’s International Health Division, preferably through the Indian Embassy in Nouakchott.

Tips for this fellowship

Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.

  1. Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
  2. Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
  3. Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
  4. Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.

Verification notes

Verified from the current Embassy of India in Nouakchott notice and official programme flyer. The notice states applications are accepted throughout the year; therefore no artificial deadline is added.
