IGAD is recruiting an individual consultant in Djibouti to turn its regional Food Systems Resilience Analysis Framework and evidence base into an interactive analytical dashboard for decision-makers.
Full job description
The consultant will consolidate, harmonize and quality-assure fourteen years of data across seven IGAD member states; design a user-friendly dashboard for resilience indicators, trends and cross-country comparisons; deploy it on IGAD infrastructure with interoperability to existing systems; and transfer operating and maintenance knowledge to IGAD staff. The expected contract period is 150 calendar days.
Requirements & qualifications
IGAD requires a master's degree in computer science or ICT, demonstrated dashboard and data-visualization experience, proficiency in modern web/visualization technologies, and at least seven years of relevant experience developing interactive data dashboards or analytical web platforms. Experience with multi-country, multi-year datasets, food security, climate, agriculture or resilience analytics is relevant; GIS/geospatial visualization and prior Africa or IGAD-region work are advantages.
