Full job description
The temporary contractual role supports the ANRF project “The science and design of robotic sandworms: propulsion of deformable object through particulate media.” Work includes robotics experiments, instrumentation and data collection, actuator and sensor integration, embedded and control systems, MATLAB/Python/ROS workflows, and prototype building and testing. The appointment is initially for one year and may be extended subject to project requirements and performance. The advertised consolidated salary is INR 58,000 per month plus HRA as per applicable rules.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree, or have three years of research, teaching and design/development experience after an ME/MTech or equivalent, together with at least one SCI-indexed research paper. Experience with robotics, experiments, instrumentation, MATLAB, Python or ROS is desirable; work on soft or deformable robotic systems is encouraged.
