Full job description
The post is located in the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team for the Arab States and carries regional responsibilities across Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. The specialist leads technical and policy support for workers' organizations, develops programmes and knowledge products, supports capacity building and represents the ILO in relevant regional and national forums. Requirements & qualifications
External candidates are eligible. The official posting requires an advanced university degree in a relevant field (or an accepted bachelor's-equivalent route with additional experience), at least ten years of relevant experience including international-level work with workers' organizations and trade unions, and excellent English and Arabic.
