Role Summary And Impact

The Implementation & Activation Director is a leadership role, overseeing operational excellence and responsible for all day to day output that delivers effective campaigns, ensuring best in class consistent implementation, optimisation, and reporting. Working very closely with your Head Of and Client Partner, you will produce best in class solutions, offer unparalleled service and deliver against targets. The role involves the application and oversight of specialist technical skills, leadership, and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, activation, optimisation and reporting of integrated media campaigns.

• Serve as a senior client contact, providing strategic media expertise and market insights.

• Develop innovative activation plans and negotiation strategies aligned to client objectives.

• Drive campaign performance, ensuring delivery against KPIs and business goals.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media owners, technology partners and clients.

• Identify growth opportunities, product innovations and process improvements.

• Support the adoption of new tools, technology, automation and best-practice ways of working.

• Contribute to new business pitches, agency marketing initiatives and industry thought leadership.

• Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams through mentoring, performance management and career development

Skills And Experience

• Deep expertise in both direct and biddable digital media, with a strong comprehension of its role within the broader marketing/media mix.

• Proven expertise in effective digital campaign planning principles.

• Strong capabilities in audience profiling and insights into media usage behavior.

• Expertise in the strategic role of device, platform, and format in digital media.

• Adept at leveraging 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data for audience targeting, including setting up and managing test campaigns in collaboration with our Transformation team.

• Proficiency in defining measurement metrics and setting effective KPIs for digital campaigns.

• Strategic understanding of when to apply Direct vs. Biddable buying models for optimal campaign performance.

• Ability to establish and measure test hypotheses, fostering a strategic test-and-learn framework.
