Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an In-store Mortgage Broker - Ringwood based in Australia. You will be a trusted mortgage specialist within a high-performing retail environment, helping customers navigate the full home-buying journey with confidence. The role combines relationship management, mortgage advice, sales, and community engagement, with a strong focus on high-intent customers. You will manage walk-ins, online leads, and in-store appointments while building lasting relationships within your local community. From initial property searches through settlement and beyond, you will guide customers through their financing needs and identify opportunities to support them throughout their property journey. Technology, automation, and dedicated processing support will reduce administrative work, allowing you to focus more time on customers and business growth. You will also have opportunities to expand your income through complementary property services and referrals. Working alongside a collaborative store team and broader broker network, you will have access to training, growth programs, and tools designed to support long-term career development.
Manage walk-in customers, online leads, and in-store appointments, converting high-intent opportunities into successful customer relationships. Guide customers through the complete home loan journey, from property search and finance assessment through settlement and ongoing support. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing guidance across key property milestones. Contribute to local marketing initiatives and community activities that support store growth and strengthen local market presence. Prepare and submit mortgage applications to the in-house processing team, leveraging dedicated administrative support to minimise time spent on paperwork. Identify additional opportunities to support customers through buyer’s agent, conveyancing, refinancing, and other property-related services. Use digital platforms, automation, AI-enabled tools, and real-time customer data to improve efficiency and identify relevant customer opportunities. Participate actively in store collaboration, knowledge sharing, training, and professional development initiatives. Requirements: Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or willingness to obtain the qualification before starting, with support provided. Previous experience in sales, mortgage broking, financial services, customer service, or a related customer-facing environment. Strong sales orientation, commercial drive, and determination to contribute to retail store growth. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide clear guidance. Genuine passion for helping customers achieve their homeownership goals. Ability to manage multiple customer interactions and opportunities while maintaining a high standard of service. Comfortable working with technology, digital platforms, automation, and data-driven tools. Unrestricted Australian working rights. Benefits: Uncapped earning potential, with additional income opportunities across home loans, buyer’s agent referrals, conveyancing, and other property services. Access to a connected property ecosystem supporting customers from their initial search through settlement and beyond. Dedicated processing, compliance, appointment-setting, and administrative support to significantly reduce paperwork and free up time for customers. Award-winning technology and AI-powered tools designed to improve efficiency and streamline workflows. Real-time loan, property, and equity insights to support stronger customer conversations around refinancing and investment. 24/7 chat support and automated workflows to help keep applications and deals moving. Access to Broker Academy, structured growth programs, and ongoing professional training. Opportunity to build long-term customer relationships rather than relying solely on one-off transactions. Collaborative, values-led retail environment backed by a large national broker network. Opportunities to learn, collaborate, and grow within a high-performing store team.
