UNICEF is recruiting a 10-month consultant based around Bangkok and remote work with travel to provide technical expertise and training support for gender-responsive and inclusive social-protection work across Asia and Africa.
Full job description
The assignment supports inclusive social-protection systems strengthening, training and capacity building, technical assistance and resource development, including work at the intersection of care and support, climate resilience and child-marriage prevention. The consultant must provide at least four working-hour overlap with Bangkok time.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires an advanced university degree in social sciences, international development or a closely related field; at least ten years of professional experience; experience working in Asia and Africa; demonstrated expertise in social-protection systems, gender-responsive programming, care and support systems, child-marriage prevention and climate resilience; and fluency in English. Another UN language is preferred.
