You’ll support the Accounts Payable function and contribute to the timely and accurate execution of the monthly financial close process. You’ll manage and maintain vendor master data within the ERP environment, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned with established policies and controls. You’ll process vendor disbursements in accordance with approval requirements, internal policies, payment terms, and established financial controls. You’ll manage the timely issuance of vendor payments and support the accurate and compliant administration of annual 1099 forms in accordance with IRS regulations. You’ll prepare, maintain, and produce documentation and supporting schedules required for internal and external audits. You’ll issue W-9 forms as needed and support compliance with applicable IRS requirements and company policies. You’ll identify opportunities to optimize and automate Accounts Payable processes, with a focus on reducing SLA cycle times, minimizing manual errors, increasing operational efficiency, and improving the customer experience. You’ll support the development and implementation of a sound internal control environment related to cash receipts, cash disbursements, vendor payments, and other AP activities. You’ll manage Positive Pay activities through the banking platform and support processes designed to mitigate payment risk and strengthen financial controls. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, payment, approval, and vendor-related issues while ensuring company policies and procedures are consistently followed. You’ll analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, standardization, and digital enablement across the Accounts Payable function. You’ll manage a high volume of invoices, inquiries, payments, and competing priorities while maintaining aYou’ll perform additional responsibilities and contribute to special projects as needed to support the success of the organization. Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, bookkeeping, or a related finance function 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, accounting software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel 3 years of experience managing high volumes of invoices, vendor inquiries, payment requests, and disbursements while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines 3 years of experience supporting month-end close activities, financial reporting, audit documentation, and related accounting processes
Experience supporting Accounts Payable process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives Experience managing banking platforms and Positive Pay processes Experience supporting internal and external financial audits and maintaining audit documentation Experience managing vendor master data and implementing financial controls Experience identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, improve SLA performance, and enhance customer satisfaction
