You'll analyze invitation-to-bid (ITB) documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to determine the electrical requirements for data center and other complex projects. You'll perform detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) using digital take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Accubid, LiveCount). You'll prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct costs. You'll solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure completeness and competitiveness. You'll develop detailed basis of estimate (BOE) documentation, outlining assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications. You'll collaborate with the operations and pre-construction team to develop value-engineering ideas and constructability reviews. You'll participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings (virtually) with clients, engineers, and general contractors. You'll utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick) to build and format professional proposals. You'll maintain current knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, material pricing, and labor rates. You'll manage multiple estimates simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industry Proven experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects. Direct experience with data center projects is required Proficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst) and digital take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu)

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including but not limited to: primary and secondary power distribution, emergency/back-up power systems (generators, UPS, ATS), branch power, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFPs independently
