This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Ingénieur Électrique Poste Électrique – Electrical Substation Engineer based in Canada. This role is responsible for the detailed technical execution of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage substation engineering projects. You will lead the physical and primary design of complex substations, from single-line diagrams and equipment layouts through detailed calculations and construction-ready documentation. The position combines hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership, quality oversight, and multidisciplinary coordination. You will work closely with engineers, designers, project managers, procurement teams, and protection and control specialists to deliver safe, constructible, and cost-effective solutions. As a licensed professional engineer, you may also act as the responsible engineer and seal completed engineering documents. This is a remote opportunity in Canada with occasional travel to factories and project sites.
