Full job description
Ensure garments are being sewn to specifications and adhering to quality guidelines of factory, as per approved technical packages Measure garments on active sewing floor to ensure they are accurate to specifications Ensure correct sewing operations, machine set ups, thread color, label placement and trims are being implemented according to specifications Ensure sewing floor is cleanly so as not to contaminate garments Regularly check stitching and needle quality Identify machines that are in poor working order and initiate repair with in-house mechanic Initiate repairs of incorrectly sewn garments on sewing floor Evaluate bundles for complete and accurate sewing before passing Identify repetitive issues with quality of production, and escalate issues to the Factory Operations Supervisor for corrective action Regularly report Inline QC findings and concerns to Factory Operations Supervisor and Factory leadership team Be accountable to maintain quality standards of the factory and the company, ensuring garments are accurate to specifications before passing to the next phase of production Voluntary overtime as needed Work in a safety sensitive environment Must have 5+ years experience working in a quality control position for apparel manufacturing, cut & sew knits experience preferred Reports to: Factory Operations Supervisor

Ability to maintain confidentiality. Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedures manuals in English or Spanish. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in written form effectively with other employees. Mathematical: Ability to do simple math, such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. Problem Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret and resolve problem issues using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Physical Demands: Working by standing, reaching, bending. occasional lifting (max. 50lbs) and walking
