Full job description
The role reviews licensing and registration matters for insurers and intermediaries, annual filings, financial condition and regulatory compliance; participates in examinations and investigations; and supports regulatory recommendations and policy work. The official salary is PL-42/1 at US$1,177.58 biweekly plus US$40 COLA, for US$1,217.58 biweekly at step one.
Requirements & qualifications
The official announcement requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, commerce or economics with emphasis in insurance, accounting, finance or a related field, plus five years of insurance-system work experience. CPA or related credentials are preferred. Qualified FSM citizens receive first priority; other Micronesian and U.S. citizens may be considered when no qualified FSM citizen is available.
