We are currently looking for a Health Economics & Insurance Pricing Analyst to join our team.

Position Overview

To support the Group’s insurance business by developing pricing models, assessing financial risk, and monitoring contract performance, providing the analytical foundation for risk-based agreements and sustainable profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain healthcare utilization, cost, and pricing models for risk-based reimbursement schemes, including capitation, PMPM, bundled, and packaged services.
  • Analyze historical utilization and cost data to forecast healthcare demand, assess financial risk, and support pricing decisions.
  • Evaluate proposed insurer agreements through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and stress testing to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Design and optimize risk-sharing mechanisms, including stop-loss thresholds, risk corridors, and repricing triggers.
  • Monitor contract performance by tracking utilization, costs, and profitability, identifying deviations and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support contract renewals and commercial negotiations with data-driven insights, pricing recommendations, and financial impact analyses.
  • Develop performance dashboards and reports in collaboration with BI and Data teams to enhance contract visibility and decision-making.
  • Partner with commercial leadership on insurer negotiations, providing analytical support, pricing scenarios, and strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of new insurance products and value-based healthcare offerings through quantitative analysis.
  • Monitor healthcare, actuarial, and regulatory trends to improve pricing methodologies and support the Group's risk-based strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Actuarial Science preferred; degrees in Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative disciplines will also be considered.
  • Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Health Economics, or a related quantitative field is considered a strong plus.
  • 3–6 years of experience in a quantitative healthcare, health insurance, actuarial, or healthcare consulting role.
  • Demonstrated progress toward actuarial certification is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in analyzing healthcare claims, utilization, or cost data and in developing quantitative models.
  • Knowledge of private health insurance products and risk‑based reimbursement models is an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; proficiency in SQL and R or Python is strongly preferred. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
