Position Summary: Assists in performing activities concerned with the installation, service and/or inspection of integrated systems under the guidance of a licensed Integrated Systems Technician. Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills. Eagerness for professional development and growth. Ability to pass various background checks where required. Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle. Desirable (but not required): Experience in the construction or electrical industry. Competence in reading and interpreting electrical plans, drawings, schematics, and specifications.   What you will do: Accurately interpret instructions and directives as assigned by supervisor. Effectively communicate relevant project or service information to supervisor. Complete work in a timely manner as outlined by supervisor. Effectively communicate with others – including by not limited to co-workers, supervisors, and job site Occasional use of computers, phones, email, copier and/or other office technology. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Exercise a modest level of independent judgment in to perform assigned duties. Understand and operate industry specific tools to make sure a system is installed and serviced properly. Assist with the installation, service, and inspection of integrated systems under the guidance of a supervisor. This may include, but not limited to; fire alarm, fire suppression, access control, video surveillance, intercom, sound/security systems, and other life safety and integrated systems.   VSC Fire and Security is a drug free workplace.
