Full job description
Interpreters handle on-demand audio and video calls through a web-based platform, facilitate communication for limited-English-proficient communities, answer inbound calls, provide customer service and follow confidentiality, professional-conduct and industry-specific interpretation protocols.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need full fluency in English and Kunama plus either Tigrinya or Arabic, proficiency with web-based platforms, email and Microsoft Word, and a quiet secure interpreting workspace. At least one year of professional interpreting experience and relevant CMI, CCHI or other industry training or certifications are preferred.
