The fellowship provides RMB 500,000 annual compensation plus a RMB 100,000 annual research fund. Appointments are for two years and may be extended by one to two years based on performance.
Eligibility requirements
Open to outstanding early-career researchers of all nationalities except Chinese citizens. Applicants must hold a PhD in physics, astronomy, chemistry or a related field, or be near completion with the degree awarded by the appointment start date, and should demonstrate strong research potential, academic output and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
