International Tax Director

<p>The International Tax Director will execute all aspects of international tax including compliance, transfer pricing, and planning. The International Tax Director will manage a team of tax professionals, collaborate with external advisors, and work closely with finance, legal, and business units to support global tax initiatives.</p> <p>We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Austin, TX for our hybrid working model.</p> <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Support IP and tax structure planning to maximize tax efficiency&nbsp;</li> <li>Direct global tax compliance&nbsp;</li> <li>Direct international quarterly and year-end accounting for income taxes (ASC 740).&nbsp; Direct international tax provisions for foreign statutory financials</li> <li>Execute the Company's global transfer pricing strategy and policy including monitoring controlled transactions, transfer prices and adjustments</li> <li>Prepare and maintain intercompany agreements and allocations</li> <li>Review the tax components of certain customer agreements</li> <li>Review business initiatives to determine the tax impact&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Direct corporate international tax research and interpretation</li> <li>Manage international tax audits&nbsp;</li> <li>Direct post-acquisition integrations</li> <li>Work closely with Treasury in managing cash globally</li> <li>Coordinate with outside tax consultants and contractors for various tax projects&nbsp;</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <h3>Education:</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MST or LLM (Taxation) preferred)</li> </ul> <h3>Experience:</h3> <ul> <li>10+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership role</li> <li>Strong compliance and planning experience in a multi-national, multi-entity environment including the areas of: BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, OECD Pillar Two, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaty Research and Interpretation, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, and Transfer Pricing</li> <li>Working knowledge of international taxation in Europe and Asia</li> </ul> <h3>Skills:</h3> <ul> <li>Understanding of SEC and GAAP reporting requirements</li> <li>Significant project management skills required</li> <li>Ability to navigate complex tax issues and provide strategic solutions</li> <li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities</li> </ul> <h3>About MongoDB</h3> <p>MongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market.
