The role also requires a strong focus on health and safety, adherence to professional standards, and active participation in training and team targets to ensure efficient and reliable supply chain operations.About the Team/Service/LocationThe PSC&HTM (Procurement, Supply Chain and Health Technology Management) team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora are a national function with a vast and complex scope. They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, safety, and efficiency of clinical and non-clinical goods and services across the health system. About youYou're reliable, adaptable, and confident working in a logistics or warehouse environment. You have a strong focus on safety, customer service, and continuous improvement, and are comfortable working with systems and processes in a fast-paced setting.You will bring:Secondary school educationA current full Class 1 driver's licence with 1-2 years of driving experienceExperience in a warehouse environment and basic stock controlFamiliarity with ERP systems and organisational processesStrong willingness to learn internal processes, products, and best practicesGood communication skills with the ability to manage challenging situationsCommitment to health and safety practicesDesired: Experience in supply chain (ideally 5+ years), preferably in the health sector, H&S knowledge, and understanding of continuous improvement practicesWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
