Powered by a best-in-class telecom platform, proprietary eSIM technology, and its own mobile core network across 15 countries, 1GLOBAL operates as a fully regulated telecommunications provider in 43 countries.
Founded in 2022, 1GLOBAL has rapidly become one of Europe's fastest-growing telecom technology companies, connecting more than 80 million people and devices globally. Our customers include leading banks, multinational enterprises, global retailers, travel companies, payment service providers, and digital-first businesses.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, with R&D hubs in Lisbon, Berlin, and São Paulo, 1GLOBAL employs over 550 professionals across 16 countries. With annual revenues exceeding US$200 million and a strong track record of profitability, we continue to invest in innovation, infrastructure, and international expansion as we redefine the future of global mobile connectivity.
About the Team
We are looking for an IP Link Delivery Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of IP connectivity across our global infrastructure. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-capacity IP links (DCI, backbone, IX, transit) across multiple data centers and regions.
You will work at the intersection of network engineering, vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient connectivity aligned with business and operational requirements.
About the Role
- Delivery Coordination Own end-to-end delivery of IP links across DCI, transit and peering, and backbone connections, tracking milestones and dependencies from order through turn-up. Drive timely follow-ups with vendors and internal teams to keep delivery on schedule.
- Vendor & Carrier Interaction Act as the primary point of contact for carriers and providers through ordering, provisioning, and installation scheduling, tracking tickets and escalating delays where needed. Validate delivered services against agreed requirements for capacity, location, and SLA.
- Technical Coordination Work with IP/network engineering to translate link requirements into configurations and implementation plans. Support validation of basic routing (BGP sessions, reachability) and link status and performance checks.
- Implementation Support Coordinate testing windows and track Layer 1–3 validation steps during link turn-up activities. Ensure documentation is complete and services are formally handed over to operations.
- Reporting & Tracking Maintain delivery trackers and status reports with regular updates on timelines, risks, and blockers. Provide capacity tracking and basic forecasting inputs to support planning.
- Incident & Support Participation Assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues with vendors and support incident coordination when required. Track post-incident actions through to closure.
Requirements
About You
Must Have
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, service delivery, or infrastructure/network operations roles.
- Working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, including BGP and general routing concepts.
- Understanding of data-centers connectivity and link types (1G/10G/100G), including concepts such as latency, redundancy, and failover.
- Proven ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams, timelines, and dependencies without losing track of detail.
- Hands-on experience with ticketing and tracking systems, and comfort maintaining structured documentation.
- Ability to interpret basic monitoring tools, logs, and link status data to support validation and troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the persistence to chase vendors and internal teams to closure.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to telecom, ISP, or carrier environments and their ordering and provisioning processes.
- Experience in data-centers operations or coordinating on-site installation and turn-up activities.
- Prior experience interacting directly with vendors and carriers, including ticket escalation.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g. Python, Bash) for reporting or tracking tasks
