ISTA accepts year-round scientific internship approaches from eligible bachelor's and master's students and recent graduates who want to work with an ISTA research group.
Complete internship details
Applications are accepted continuously. Internships can run from two months to one year and are arranged with a research group leader or staff scientist. Selected scientific interns receive an ISTA employment contract and a minimum salary of EUR 1,583 gross per month. The start date proposed by the candidate must be at least two months ahead. ISTA states that successful non-EU/EEA/Swiss interns receive information and required ISTA documents for the visa process.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants may be current students or recent graduates of bachelor's or master's degrees in natural sciences, computer science, mathematics or related disciplines. They must be available for at least two months, have interests aligned with an ISTA research group and have good English. Candidates contact a relevant group leader or staff scientist with an introduction, motivation, CV and proposed dates.
