Position Information

  • Title: IT Business Analyst – Automotive
  • Department: Digital & Technology
  • Location: Dubai
  • Reporting To: Director of Digital & Technology – Automotive & Logistics
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in an automotive dealership IT / BA role, with

mandatory hands-on After-Sales (Service & Spare Parts) system experience

  • Languages: English required; Arabic advantageous

Role Purpose

The IT Business Analyst (Automotive) acts as the bridge between automotive operations and

technology delivery.

This role ensures that dealership business processes— across Service, Spare Parts and

Operations—are clearly defined, audit-ready, and aligned with industry best practices, while

being scalable across current and future markets.

The role plays a critical part in the ERPNext/DMS implementation, and guiding the business

toward standardized, efficient, and technology-enabled dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities

1 - Business Requirements & Process Excellence

  • Lead the end-to-end definition, documentation, and validation of business

requirements for ERPNext/DMS and future digital initiatives.

  • Map and optimize end-to-end dealership processes with a primary focus on

After-Sales (Service, Workshop & Spare Parts).

  • Conduct current vs future state and gap analyses to drive process improvement.
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose pragmatic, industry-aligned improvements.

2 - Automotive Domain Leadership

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for automotive dealership operations.
  • Ensure ERP and DMS system designs reflect real-world dealership practices, not

theoretical workflows.

  • Challenge business assumptions and requirements where misaligned with best

practices or scalability.• Actively guide ERPNext/DMS configuration decisions based on dealership standards.

3 - Audit, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure business processes and system requirements are fully documented and

audit-ready.

  • Support Internal Audit reviews and remediation efforts.
  • Embed governance, control, and traceability into business and system processes.

4 - IT–Business Engagement

  • Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and validation meetings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on process and system design.

5 - Solution Delivery Support

  • Work closely with ERPNext/DMS implementation and integration partners.
  • Maintain functional design documents, process maps, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with development, integration, and testing teams to ensure requirements

are delivered as intended.

6 - Continuous Improvement & Digital Roadmap

  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and digital enablement.
  • Promote consistent processes across branches and markets.
  • Contribute to the automotive digital roadmap with a strong process and governance

lens.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years as an IT Business Analyst within an automotive dealership

environment.

  • Mandatory: Direct, hands-on experience in After-Sales (Service, Workshop & Spare

Parts) operations, including process design and systems support for warranty, job

cards, technician scheduling, parts inventory, and customer service workflows. This

is a specific gap the role is intended to close and candidates without demonstrable

After-Sales exposure will not be considered.

  • Strong understanding of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and ERP platforms.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end process mapping and optimization.
  • Experience supporting multi-branch or multi-market dealership operations.• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Structured, analytical thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • High integrity, strong governance mindset, and audit awareness.

Why This Role Matters

This role is central to ensuring that our automotive digital platforms are built on proven

dealership industry standards, not adapted ad-hoc processes.

By combining deep automotive domain expertise with disciplined business analysis, the IT

Business Analyst ensures that ERPNext/DMS and future systems are:

  • operationally realistic,
  • audit-compliant,
  • scalable across markets, and
  • aligned with long-term digital transformation goals.
