Full job description

The role advises specialist units on digital processes and architecture, designs and implements digitalization initiatives, takes responsibility for software products, procedures or shared components, performs requirements/change/test/release management, contributes to the BVA software-development infrastructure platform strategy, and supports concepts and advice around the Digi Factory digitalization standard. The source lists TVöD Bund E10 or E11 and an entry salary range of EUR 4,124.53 to 6,326.77 gross, with a possible specialist allowance of up to EUR 1,500 per month after individual assessment. Full-time and part-time arrangements are available.

Requirements & qualifications

Applicants need one of the following: completed IHK training as a Fachinformatiker in application development or systems integration; at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or technology; at least a bachelor's degree in another field plus at least two years of documented experience in IT architecture and software development; or at least three years of documented professional experience in IT architecture and software development.
