The 2026 JNC cybersecurity innovation competition is accepting individual and team projects designed in Mali.

Projects can address personal-data protection, critical-infrastructure security, web/mobile security, identity and access management, or IoT security. Teams may have up to four members. The official 2026 form requests project details and a project document, with an optional video pitch. Selected solutions are evaluated for innovation, impact, feasibility, scalability, security and ethical/legal responsibility.
Eligibility requirements
Students and researchers in computing or cybersecurity, cybersecurity/ICT professionals, entrepreneurs, startups and young innovators may apply individually or in teams of up to four. Projects must be original and designed in Mali.
