Teaching Fellow

Low Intensity CBT Programmes, Department of Psychology, Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences

The Department of Psychology at the University of Southampton are seeking to appoint three teaching fellows with expertise in Low Intensity CBT for mild to moderate mental health difficulties and education approaches, to join our Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme team.

You will have a relevant qualification in CBT (e.g., EMHP, CWP, HI CBT) with experience of delivering low intensity CBT to children and young people with anxiety and depression.

You will join our respected EMHP team, which is committed to excellent training and ensuring our students are competent and confident to deliver low intensity CBT. The role involves teaching on the EMHP Post / Graduate Diploma (PG/ UG Dip) course, observing and assessing our students. From time to time, you may also be involved in the wider clinical programmes.

You will have a proven track record in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level and a detailed understanding of knowledge of CBT.

We are advertising for a number of posts, due to our increased student numbers. We are looking to fill:

  • 1 full time position (2 years fixed term)

  • 1 part time position (0.6 FTE , 3 days per week, 2 years fixed term)

  • 1 full time position (1 year fixed term maternity cover (part-time or job Share could be considered)
