Location: Dubai,Dubai,United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of commodity trade transactions.
- Monitor shipment schedules, vessel movements, and cargo deliveries.
- Coordinate and maintain trade-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, shipping, and commercial documents.
- Update and maintain accurate records in trading and reporting systems.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Manage and maintain commercial risk and PnL reports
- Collect and summarize market and operational information for the trading team.
- Liaise with logistics providers, inspection companies, finance teams, banks, customers, and other counterparties.
- Monitor contract performance and follow up on outstanding operational and documentation matters.
- Maintain organized filing and record-keeping of trade and commercial documents.
- Support process improvement initiatives and other operational projects as required.
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in trading, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
- Exposure to commodity trading, mining, shipping, or international trade operations.
- Familiarity with ERP, CTRM, or trading management systems.
- Understanding of basic trade documentation and logistics processes.
- Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
