Junior Procurement Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturing firm based in Dubai are looking to hire a junior procurement engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure the best possible deals.
• Procurement Planning: Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand procurement needs and develop strategies to fulfil them.
• Cost Analysis: Analyse market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for procurement projects.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials and equipment meet the required specifications and quality standards. Coordinate quality inspections and assessments as needed.

• Logistics: Basic knowledge in logistics operations and documentation is mandatory. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment in UAE. Skills: o Strong negotiation and communication skills. o Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. o Knowledge of engineering materials and specifications. o Self-learning and proactiveness. o Contracts preparation and management
