HELP US CHANGE THE WAY THE WORLD WORKS

Full job description

HELP US CHANGE THE WAY THE WORLD WORKS BUILD SOMETHING THAT MATTERS. Langdock exists to change the way the world works, bridging the gap between what technology can do and what people actually do with it. We bring all leading AI models into one secure, model-agnostic platform and make them usable across entire organizations. Over 10,000 companies use our platform every day, from fast-growing startups to some of Europe's largest enterprises. Their employees open Langdock to draft strategies, analyze documents, or automate workflows - helping them to work smarter, think more creatively, and reach their full potential. ABOUT LANGDOCK Our mission is to bridge the gap between technology and adoption. We build a secure, model-agnostic AI platform that helps companies put AI to work across their entire organization. From chat and agents to integrations, workflows, and our API, we give teams the tools to augment and automate their work. We apply the same ambition internally. We want to be the most productive company in the world, and that means continuously improving how we work, not simply adding more people to existing processes. ABOUT THE ROLE Help Langdock understand what drives growth, and engineer the data foundations and systems that make those answers reliable. We are hiring our first dedicated RevOps Engineer (Data & BI) to give Revenue Operations the capacity to own both commercial data architecture and the processes connecting our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. At Langdock, commercial teams are technical and dedicate ~30% of their time to building. This means frontline workflows are designed and maintained close to the people using them. RevOps shifts focus toward more complex cross-functional challenges: architecting our commercial data model, delivering robust BI, and engineering seamless inter-team processes. Your ownership of the core data domain will create the room to scale growth projects, account handovers, CRM standards, and renewal/expansion architectures. The role combines two core focus areas: ~70% Applied Data & BI: Connect commercial, product, and billing data, build reliable models and reporting, and investigate questions that shape commercial decisions. You will own initiatives from initial business questions through modeling, validation, and analysis, helping teams act on the results. ~30% Cross-Functional RevOps Systems & Processes: Help design and improve how teams collaborate - from lead lifecycle stages and Sales-to-CS handovers to renewal, expansion, and billing processes. Working alongside the functional teams, you will clarify responsibilities, define required data touchpoints, and turn agreements into working, automated systems. Langdock moves fast. This split provides a starting baseline, while priorities will evolve as our product portfolio and commercial organization scale. You will also take on high-impact special projects around growth initiatives and commercial operations. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Architect shared commercial data & BI: Connect customer, product, and revenue data across systems (CRM, billing, product databases, and GTM tools); maintain consistent core metrics; and provide reliable, actionable reporting.
  • Build in-house revenue & billing logic: Own and refine our revenue tracking, billing data reconciliation, and lifecycle metrics so leadership and commercial teams can rely on one source of truth.
  • Support commercial planning and measurement: Provide clean definitions and data models to inform company goals, quotas, commission/compensation structures, forecasting, and account development.
  • Investigate growth drivers: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, and Engineering to explore key commercial questions, uncover pipeline/expansion bottlenecks, and validate hypotheses.
  • Optimize GTM funnels & lifecycle workflows: Define clear cross-team handoffs (e.g., Lead-to-Opportunity, Sales-to-CS, renewals, and expansions), ensuring clean CRM hygiene and minimal friction.
  • Leverage AI and modern automation internally: Use Langdock agents, automation tools, and CRM integrations to eliminate repetitive manual operational tasks and feed internal learnings back into our product. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • You write clean, performant SQL with confidence and have hands-on experience combining data from disparate, sometimes messy sources into resilient relational models.
  • You treat data with an engineering mindset: you don't just write ad-hoc queries, you build sustainable data workflows, test edge cases, validate outputs, and document your work so others can build on top of it.
  • You think commercially and are curious about what makes businesses grow. You understand B2B SaaS mechanics and distinguish vanity dashboards from data that drives commercial decisions.
  • You have practical experience with CRM systems (such as HubSpot), modern billing data, and automation tools.
  • You build with AI. You have hands-on experience using AI and automation tools to solve real problems and streamline operational work.
  • You can listen to ambiguous business questions from sales, CS, or leadership, translate them into clear technical requirements, and communicate analytical findings with clarity. OUR VALUES
  • Calm urgency. We move fast without chaos. We stay calm, fix what matters, and avoid unnecessary noise. We focus on solutions rather than complaints and make sure sleep, health, and sports keep our decision-making sharp.
  • Ambitious execution. We love building fast and with ownership. We aim to be the most productive company in the world. Learning, shipping, and improving bring us joy. Everyone is expected to ask questions, take initiative, and deliver reliably.
  • Caring ownership. We care deeply: about each other, customers, and the world around us. We act with empathy, sincerity, and long-term thinking. And we have fun along the way while spending time in the office together. THE ENVIRONMENT We work from our Berlin office at Greifswalder Straße 212, where all of us work together in person, surrounded by people building AI products and infrastructure every day. Everyone works together in person because the hardest problems get solved faster at a whiteboard than in a Slack thread. Conversations happen faster, problems get solved quicker, and we actually know each other. Days start at 8:30. Lunch and dinner are catered in the office. We look after ourselves, run, go to the gym, and take care of ourselves—gym membership and coaching resources are part of the standard package. Health is not separate from work here; it is part of how we work well. The vibe is calm but intense. No one is yelling or panicking. But everyone is working hard on things that matter. COMPENSATION & LEVELING Salaries are transparent and tied to levels, not negotiation. All roles include equity. We will figure out the right level together based on your experience and scope. Levels are about the work you own, not your title or years of experience. We narrow down the expected salary range early in the process. WHEN YOU APPLY When you apply, we would love to see an example of a data model, analysis, or workflow automation you've built. Tell us what problem it solved, how it works, and what you learned. NEXT STEPS We move fast, and most hiring processes finish within two weeks. If this sounds like your kind of work, we would love to meet you.
